Modernist Horizons: Between Romania and the US

The exhibition highlights the work of architect Haralamb H. (Bubi) Georgescu, tracing his professional trajectory from interwar Romania to the post-war United States.

Spanning his projects in Romania—including collaborations with Horia Creangă—and his subsequent work in the United States, the exhibition brings together archival drawings, photographs, documents, and materials from recent research, offering a comparative perspective on these two phases of his career.

The exhibition is part of a broader initiative to research, document, and recover the work of Haralamb Georgescu—an effort sustained through the Haralamb H. Georgescu Archive, a digital repository dedicated to projects and documents identified in both Romania and the United States.
